Complementing our work in the Commercial and Hospitality sector, Coleman & Fairburn has also been very active in the Retirement & Community projects sector.
Our own Joinery Shop has made significant contributions to some of these notable projects such as the ornate Coptic Orthodox Church at Rhodes and the stunning gothic joinery installed in St Mary's Cathedral in time for World Youth Day 2008. Coleman & Fairburn was also given the responsibility of transporting and installing the new marble altar into St Mary's Cathedral prior to its consecration by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI in July 2008.
We have also constructed new Retirement hostels and refurbished or extended hostel and self-care accommodation. Alteration projects within existing retirement facilities involve an extra degree of complexity in architectural and structural detailing, eg. the marrying of new to old constructions. They also require careful planning to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents at all times. Coleman & Fairburn has a proven track-record in this regard.
In recent years our company has successfully completed over 20 such projects, ranging in value up to $6 million.
